As reported on the People’s Tournament site, Alfred Donato (187 avg.) represented the home contingent well by winning the April event at Westgate Lanes, defeating Tiana Carrasquillo (AMF Silver Lanes {CT}, 150 avg.) in the title match by a score of 250-237 (with handicaps). Hans Cheung (182 avg.) also represented Westgate Lanes in the semifinals, and semifinalist Brian Frank, though he’s listed as representing East Providence Lanes (with a 209 average), should also be familiar to Westgate Lanes bowlers, as he works in the pro shop. Brian Alleyn (153 avg.) was also in the final eight.
