As reported by the PBA, Jonathan Van Hees of Charlestown, RI finished in 36th place at the Motor City Open, the first event of the PBA World Series of Bowling, currently in progress in the Detroit metropolitan area. While Van Hees missed the cut to match play, his finish was high enough to earn a paycheck.
