Just a couple of things to note:
- Nate Abdow’s 836 in singles helped him to also win the scratch all-events title.
- Tina Gannon, being part of the winning scratch and handicap doubles pairing, is, to my memory, the first female champion in Brockton Bowling Association history. I shall try to confirm this with Bob Young next week when I see him.
EDIT: A check of the BBA website’s list of previous champions yielded the fact that Mo Morrison was the handicap all-events champion of the tournament in the 1999-2000 season, so she may have been the first female champion in the history of the tournament.
