The PBA reported that Jonathan Van Hees of Charlestown, RI was one of the final eight bowlers in this weekend’s PBA East regional tour opener, the Mt. Greylock Open at Mt. Greylock Bowl in N. Adams, MA. Van Hees was eliminated in two straight games in a best-of-three match by the eventual winner, former exempt player Dave D’Entremont of Middleburg Heights, OH, who defeated Jeff Zaffino of Warren, PA 257-217 in the title match. The tournament was contested on the Cheetah oil pattern.
A few bowlers from Westgate Lanes competed this weekend, and I’m happy to say that four of them cashed: Ed Roberts, Danny Khuu, John Ellis, and Rich Fulton. Congrats guys! 😀
