All of the members of “The 5 G’s” can hook it, and the lanes broke down quicker than I’m used to. As a result, I couldn’t stay off the nose for a good deal of the night. I migrated in as much as I felt comfortable with and eventually found some success when I started trying to loft it a little. However, that is not really my game, and I eventually lost the left lane. I could take something away from tonight, however: I beat the younger Ed Godino scratch in the last game.

John had a steady night, and Carl got better than he’s been later in the night, but the other team didn’t make many big mistakes tonight and took all four points, with my team losing total by more than 300 pins.
