I came across this site on Facebook via Brian Gaskill. The Northeast Open Bowling Championships appear to be the oldest “traditional” format private tournament (with team, doubles, and singles events, with all-events) in New England. The tournament appears to run in February and early March at Yankee Lanes in Keene, NH, and, judging from this year’s results, “Team Abdow” (whom I can only guess North Bowl’s Nate Abdow is involved with) finished second in handicap team, and a familiar name, Jon Van Hees, won the scratch all-events title.
