The People’s Tournament reported that Mike Major (Westgate Lanes, 203 avg.) was the champion of the event held on March 26 & 27 at East Providence Lanes. Mike defeated Ed Miller (Westgate Lanes, 175 avg.) in the title match (the score was not available on the site). Herbert Brown (Kingston Ten Pin, 175 avg.) also represented the Brockton association in the final eight.
