The Stamford Advocate reported that New York Jets wide-out Santonio Holmes raised nearly $34K for sickle cell anemia research last night with a bowling tournament at Jersey Lanes in Linden, NJ. The event was organized under the auspices of Holmes’ III and Long Foundation (referring to his namesake son, who is afflicted with the disease).
