NEBA reported that Alex Aguiar teamed with Johnny Petraglia Jr. to win last weekend’s NEBA doubles event at East Providence Lanes, tying Steve Violette and Eric Copping at 471 in the title match and winning a 9th and 10th frame roll-off 89-66. The title was Alex’s 13th and Petraglia’s first in NEBA. The match play results also reported Westgate Lanes league bowlers Donie Corneau (with Jon Van Hees), Rich Fulton (with Randy Hagemoser), and Danny Khuu (with Todd Lathrop) as also cashing in the tournament.
EDIT: I originally credited the PBA and USBC Hall of Famer Johnny Petraglia with being Alex’s partner, but forgot that he has a namesake son.
