The NAT reported Russ Michaud as the winner of the event on Jan. 27 at Gardner Ten Pin, defeating Mike Budwick by a score of 237-214 (with handicap) in the championship match. Westgate Lanes league bowlers cashing were Billy Trudell, Tony Bennett, Sean Richard, Jim Ferguson, and Danny Khuu.
