Oct. 30 league night recap

My Week 9 bowling, frame-by-frame (Linked to BowlSK sheet)

I was all over the place tonight; I had a double in each game, but there were just too many bad shots otherwise. I don’t want to make it an excuse, but more than a few of us in the building may have been a bit distracted by what was going to take place in the World Series at Fenway Park tonight.

Result: 170-164-156=490
Average (27 games): 173
Average for last 9 games: 168
Next week’s AVG+1 score: 523

Pat was the only one of us over average in all three games en route to losing all four points.

In brackets last week, I did manage to make it through one bracket, beating Ed Godino Jr. (the father) for the break-even $5.

I also did want to note here that, because we didn’t have the table space at our pair (23 & 24), I left my laptop at home and, instead, did my BowlSK stuff on my smartphone. I was using the site in the Dolphin Browser Android app, and a lot of it seemed in many ways easier than using my laptop. This was especially true at the end of the night, because I could just sign out of the site, close the browser, and I could leave my phone on. I’ll probably be leaving feedback on the site with the developer (whom I know online) to let him know I had a smooth experience.
