The People’s Tournament reported Barton Fink (Westgate Lanes, 161 avg.) as the winner of the tournament held on Jan. 25 & 26 at Westgate Lanes. Fink defeated Danny Khuu (Westgate Lanes, 218 avg.) by a score (with handicap) of 206-189 in the final match. Also representing Westgate Lanes in the final eight were Al Rue (177 avg.), Hans Cheung (182 avg.), and Alex Major (196 avg.). There were 311 entries in the event, with a $20,000 check going to Barton Fink for the win.
Note: Barton is a member of “The Doables”, one of the teams in my league. 😀
