2014 Tri-City mixed doubles Sunday

As I noted this week, I finally bowled in this tournament this year, with Karen Goodwin from my league as my partner, so I have a BowlSK sheet attached to this tournament. However, I must warn you that it was not the prettiest sheet I’ll ever post…

My bowling, frame-by-frame (Linked to BowlSK sheet)

The day started fairly promisingly, as I stayed clean through six frames, but then I started coming around on some shots instead of staying under the ball, and it would be a recurring theme for the day. My spare game also decided to desert me, so I could only manage to post a mid-4. Karen wasn’t much better, but, for her part, she did have the only game over average between the two of us. We ended up with a scratch score of 899, and 1,196 with handicap.

Sean Richard stayed hot from yesterday, and even improved, putting up a 781, bowling with Sandi Litchfield to put up a high-ish 1,400s score (which is an actual score because they were both bowling scratch). It won’t be official until Wednesday, but Sean may have cashed twice, with Sandi for the top handicap prize, and with Chris Major for the top scratch prize.
