There are plenty of side events at the Junior Gold national tournament, and one of those was a “Survivor” tournament for those who did not make the first cut. As evidenced here, Stephen Major placed 93rd out of 585 boys in the Survivor tournament, which, I’m told, is good enough for not only scholarship money, but also a paid entry into next year’s Junior Gold tournament, to be held in Chicago. WTG Stephen! 😀
