I was very happy with tonight’s set: No letdown in the third game, and, indeed, only one open frame after the first game (on a split in the third game, which I actually came close to making).
Result: 188-202-196=586
Average (33 games): 176

Team won the first two games, then the elder Ralph Marple put up a 267 to help his team take the third game by enough for total and a 4-4 split. Teams 1 and 5 each won six, so we’re now tied with Team 1 for first with Team 5 six points behind in third.
