I got word tonight at the local association board meeting that Brockton Bowling Association Hall of Famer and late association manager Robert J. “Bob” Young has been elected to the Massachusetts state Hall of Fame at the last meeting of the state board for Meritorious Service. Along with serving the local association, Bob Young had also been manager of the state association. Bob will be inducted in ceremonies during the state tournament in the spring.

Winter 2015 Week 3 virtual league results
“Diamond Flush 2.0” won five of seven from “The Chat Line” and are now tied for the lead with “The Big Red One” and Team 3. Individually, “RayRay” repeated his 290 game of the previous week.
Feb. 2 league standings update
After winning one point from “Spare Change”, “Turkey Hunters” have slipped to the bottom of the second half standings, 10 points behind “Bowling Stones”, who have yet to lose a point three weeks into the half. They lead three teams, “Y Not Us”, “Spare Change”, and “Striking Gentlemen” by four points. We bowl against “SR Spares” Wednesday night.
Roy Ellis, Mike Griffin bowl 290
I tend not to combine honor score posts, but, not wanting to make two posts, I decided to here. On Thursday night, Roy Ellis bowled a 290 game in the Patriots league, and, on the following night, Mike Griffin had one in the TNBA league. Congrats to both! 😀
