Congratulations to Sean Richard, who won his first Northeast Amateur Tournament title today at Westgate Lanes after defeating Mark Juliano in the two-game final match by a score (with handicap) of 563-500. Seany was really locked in today, as he also had games of 242, 258, and 300 (his 52nd) for 800 on the button in his first three games (of four) of qualifying. Devon McGregor, Bill Briggs, Matt Richard, Hakim Emmanuel, David Chalifoux, Danny Khuu, and John Hayes Jr. were the other Westgate bowlers cashing.
Scoring was high all day, as Devon McGregor also had a 299 game en route to putting up 1,041 for the four games, and Ed Brabant Jr. and David Chalifoux also had perfect games; the last strike of the latter 300 game is below:
