Wanting to do a little more bowling, I decided to actually bowl in the Cabrals’ Raise the Roof fundraiser today. I want to try to do more of these fundraisers, as it gives me a chance to bowl with people I don’t normally bowl with, and, today, two of the bowlers I was crossing with were bowlers I’ve mentioned on this blog before, Henry Webber and AJ Voisine. As for the bowling itself, I only shot a 499 no-tap series with the lanes transitioning quickly, but I did have my moments, including three natural out of the last four strikes (with the fourth being a 4 pin that stood for a no-tap strike).
I think they’ll be doing more, and I hope I’m in a position to join the fun again.
The Tenth Board 
I meant to mention that I had the pleasure of presenting Paris Cook’s 300 ring to him yesterday, as well. Rob Young had the ring and wanted to present it to him this past Monday, but Paris was working, so, where he bowls in my summer league, too, Rob left it with me. However, Paris was working Wednesday night, too, so yesterday was the day I caught up with him.
