It involved different nights and centers, but Danny Khuu followed up his 300 (last game) Thursday night in Kingston with one in the first game last night at Westgate. Nice bowling! 🙂

2018 Mass. senior tournament set for Oct. 27-28 in Auburn
What is likely the first event to be held by the new merged Massachusetts state association will be the 2018 state senior tournament, to be held on Oct. 27 & 28 at AMF Auburn Lanes. New this year will be that the senior tournament will have open and women’s divisions. I have attached a copy of the entry form here (Word format). Note: Mail-in entries close Oct. 20, but walk-in and re-entries are allowed, closing 30 minutes prior to the start of each squad.

Qwadaris Rembert fires 300/825 at Lang’s
Pepsi league bowler Qwadaris Rembert posted on Facebook (and followed up with me) that he had 300-257-268 for an 825 set last night at Lang’s in their Summer Classic league. Nice bowling! 🙂
Sean Richard fires 298 game in Kingston
“$eany Ka$h” reported to me that he had a chance at Kingston’s house record (816) in the summer doubles league last night after starting 279-298, but faltered in the 3rd game to lose his 800. Maybe next time!
Qwadaris Rembert wins 9-game marathon in NH
As noted in the post above, Pepsi league bowler Qwadaris Rembert won today’s 9-game scratch marathon at Strikers East in Raymond, NH with a 2,117 score. Congrats! 🙂
Zach Thompson throws 299 in Malden summer league
Pepsi league regular Zach Thompson posted on Facebook that he just missed a 300 last night subbing in the Summertimers league at Town Line, with the video showing the “almighty” 10 still standing on the last shot. Nice bowling! 🙂
Keith Tantillo bowls 801, 300 in Monday doubles
Keith Tantillo put together a big set the other night in the summer doubles league, with 257-298-246 for an 801, then followed that up the best way possible, with a 300 4th game. WTG! 🙂

Brandon Moore shines in Special Olympics national games

Thought I’d recap the week Westgate bowler Brandon Moore has been having at the national Special Olympics games this week in Seattle, WA. The first thing I heard about was Team Massachusetts winning bronze, with a 1,543 score (four/team), and then Brandon won gold in doubles with Paul Carey, with a 985. Brandon wrapped up with a 512 in singles, placing 4th in his division.

Shawn Hagan wins singles title at 2018 Champlain International
As posted in the tournament’s official results, Pepsi league bowler Shawn Hagan won the scratch singles title at this year’s Champlain International, held at Champlain Lanes in Shelburne, VT. Shawn shot 768 for the three games in the event.
