My league’s secretary, Shawn Coles, gets mentioned for getting a 278 game the hard way last night, throwing the back 11 after leaving the 3-6-7-10 and chopping two off of that. Nicely done! 🙂

Ed Miller bowls 298 in Brunswick Mixed
Just to show everyone that I sometimes don’t see stuff from my own league, I only saw today that Ed Miller had a 298 game in the league on Oct. 10. Nice bowling! 🙂

Finally, a couple of scores from Thursday night in the Patriots league, a perfecto by Joe Bourhill and a 290 from “TomTom” Hedding. WTG guys! 🙂

There was another game I missed in the Holiday Doubles tournament: A 290 turned in by veteran North Bowl bowler James Burt. Nice going! 🙂
Jake Campbell tosses 299, Shirley Major 290 in Holiday Doubles
The now-merged association held its third annual Holiday Doubles tournament yesterday at Westgate, and there was a good game score out of that was a 290 by Shirley Major, who appears back to form after taking some time off. Nice bowling, Shirley! 🙂
UPDATE: Danny Khuu informed me that there was also a 299, which I didn’t see, thrown by Jake Campbell. WTG! 🙂
Westgate Warriors defeat Raging Bulls in Auburn; Hester shoots 297
I don’t have a detailed report, but did see on Facebook that the Westgate Warriors took 28 points out of today’s position round match with the Raging Bulls in Auburn. I also saw a video of Jon “Da Hoss” Hester leaving the 6-7-10 after the front 11 for a 297.
The Westgate Warriors should be the current leaders in the NE North division.
“Mr. 900” bowls 300, Matt Richard 299 in Patriots league
I’ve seen separate Facebook reports of a 300 game, his 11th, by “Mr. 900” Hakim Emmanuel, and a 299 game by Matt Richard, who has yet to break through with his first. Good bowling guys! 🙂
Sean Richard posts 300/824 in Malden; team shoots 1071 game, 3038 series
Sean Richard posted on Facebook that he had 234-300-290 for an 824 set last night in Malden. I’m tempted to say he has high average in that league right now. Nice bowling! 🙂
UPDATE: Brian Gaskill provided me the recap photo below, which shows the team, Rick O’Shea, had a 1,071 second game and a 3,038 series, both reportable to USBC headquarters. Fantastic! 🙂
Zach Thompson rolls 297 in Pepsi league
There still hasn’t been a 300 in the Pepsi league this season, but Zach Thompson provided the latest close approach last night, leaving a big split for a 297 game. It should be noted that two of his three teammates had big games, as well, in that game.
Nice bowling! 🙂
Shawn Hagan fires 300/817 in Malden
Shout-out to the Pepsi league’s Shawn Hagan with 240-300-277 for an 817 set in the Mixed Doubles +1 league in Malden the other night. 🙂
Sean Richard throws 299 in Westport
Not done posting yet today, as Seany told me he had a 299 game Monday night in the Westport Trios league. WTG! 🙂
Mike Dupuis bowls 300, team 854 game in Patriots
Jim Ferguson called to my attention that Mike Dupuis not only shot a 300 game last week in the Patriots league, but his Strike F/X teammates, John Camara (276) and Alex Aguiar (278) combined for an 854 game, which is over the USBC reporting threshold. Nice going! 🙂
Sean Richard blasts 300/835 in Malden
I didn’t have a sure memory of “$eany Ka$h” throwing award scores in Malden, but, after he posted 277-258-300 for an 835 last night, I now do. WTG! 🙂
Aaron Major slams 300/813 in His & Hers
Congrats to Aaron Major, who posted 268-300-245 for an 813 set the other night in the His & Hers league. 🙂
Trey Coy fires 300 in TNBA league
Kris Higgins alerted me that Trey Coy, a former member of the BBIS league, shot a 300 game in the TNBA league last night. Kris provided the video below, as well.
Congrats Trey! 🙂
“Mr. 900” shoots 299 in TNBA league
You wouldn’t expect “Mr. 900” Hakim Emmanuel to not finish a 300 game off, but he did leave a pin for a 299 last week in the TNBA league. Still, good bowling! 🙂
Gary Warner scores first 300 in Westgate Mixed
Congrats to Gary Warner, a bowler I knew from softball before I knew he was a bowler, for his first 300 game last night in the Westgate Mixed league. His father-in-law, Bill Condon, got the video I present below:
Fine bowling! 🙂
Jessica Lowe shoots 289 in TNBA league
And I noticed this in the TNBA standings: Jessica Lowe had a recent 289 game. Nice bowling! 🙂
Mark Zimmerman throws 290 in Patriots league
Consider this a “clean-up” item from last Thursday: Mark Zimmerman ended his Patriots league night with the back 11 for a 290 third game. WTG! 🙂
Shawn Hagan bowls 298 in Pepsi league
Shawn Hagan last night in the Pepsi league had the front 11, but then left a fast eight (4-7) for a 298, now the high game in the league this season. Nice bowling! 🙂
Brian “Hawk” Earle shoots 299 in Westgate Mixed
Age may have slowed Brian “Hawk” Earle a bit, but he’s still capable of putting up good games, the best I’ve seen being a stuck 10 for a 299 last night in the Westgate Mixed league. WTG! 🙂
Eldon Dunbar rolls 300 in junior travel league at Westgate
I was alerted by Rose Hamilton to a 300 game bowled by Eldon Dunbar out of Auburn in the travel league at Westgate Sunday. WTG! 🙂
Greg Andrews tosses 299/854 in Patriots league
In the scuttlebutt before the Pepsi league last night, I was told Greg Andrews had a big night Thursday night, and, checking with the desk today, it was 278-277-299 for a monster 854 set. Nice bowling! 🙂
“Mr. 900” shoots 822 in Rhythm & Bowling
“Mr. 900” Hakim Emmanuel sent me a scorer photo which showed that he went 277-277-268 for an 822 set last night in the Rhythm & Bowling league, which research showed was his highest since the 900, and was also the first of his three honor series that didn’t have at least one 300 game. If you’re thinking “Hakim pair”, it was on 43 & 44, not 47 & 48.
Congrats Hakim! 🙂
Peter Cappola shoots 290/807 for first 800 in TNBA league
Got a heads-up from Sean Richard last night that Peter Cappola went 258-290-259 for an 807 set last night in the TNBA league, which was his first 800 series. WTG! 🙂
Carl Hanson bowls 299 in Patriots league
I’ve mentioned him before: Carl Hanson had a 299 game last night in the Patriots league. Nice bowling! 🙂
Jim Ferguson posts 804, Stan Lewis 300 in NAT
The NAT is often slow posting results, but I can report that Jim Ferguson had 279-256-269 for an 804 set (first three of four) in the first squad, and Stan Lewis had a 300 game on the second squad, the video of which I have here:
More to come later, of course.
Devon McGregor rolls 296 in TNBA league
He’s probably missed by the Pepsi league (as the one who ran the eliminator), but Devon McGregor has found success in his new league, the TNBA league, shooting a 296 game last week. Congrats! 🙂
Omar Butcher throws 299 in Patriots league
The latest Patriots league standings update showed a 299 game last week by a bowler I don’t believe I’ve mentioned for a score yet, Omar Butcher. Congrats! 🙂
