Jim Simon, Mike Botelho shoot 300 in Westgate Mixed

Meanwhile, the Westgate Mixed league had a couple of 300s on their position night, led off by Jim Simon’s (Sean Richard’s video is below):

That 300 was followed in the second game by one by Mike Botelho, with video below:

This was Mike’s first 300 at Westgate, but he told me he’d previously bowled 300s in Taunton and Somerset.

WTG guys! 🙂

Gino Beniamino bowls 300, “Mr. 900” 299 in Pepsi league

There were a couple of big games in the Pepsi league last night, not the least of which was a 300 by Gino Beniamino, and he made another close approach to one later in the night with a 289. A more notable game than that, however, was bowled by “Mr. 900” Hakim Emmanuel, who had his very first 299 game after the run of 300 games that started with the 900 series. As happens often, a 10 pin stood on the last shot.

Nice bowling guys! 🙂

“Mr. 900” slams 300/815 for first 800 series

It was known at the time of his 900 series that Hakim Emmanuel never had an 800 series. But, tonight, in the TNBA Mixed league, he bowled his first 800 series by going 278-237-300 for an 815. There have been many coincidences surrounding Hakim, and his first 800 series came on lanes 47 & 48, the 900 pair, which this video of Hakim’s last two strikes recorded by Kris Higgins confirms:

Congrats Hakim! 🙂

Jim Ferguson 299/835, Bill Major 300/824 lead wild Patriots league scoring night

Last night was such a crazy scoring night in the Patriots league that I felt the best way to present the scores would be in list form:

  • Hall of Famer Jim Ferguson had the best night of all, going 299-279-257 for a personal high 835 set.
  • Hall of Famer Bill Major posted 266-258-300 for an 824 series.
  • No honor game for “TomTom” Hedding, but he threw 269-277-268 for an 814 series.
  • Finally, “Mr. 900” Hakim Emmanuel put up a 300 game first game, as did Ralph Dahlgren. Hakim’s was on 25 & 26, meaning he now has a 300 game in the original building (up to lane 32).

Nice bowling all around guys! 🙂

UPDATE: Sandi Litchfield got this video of Ralph’s last shot:

Peter Cappola shoots 300, Kevin Thibeault 298, Rob Young 279 in 2018 Brockton city tournament

There were a couple of honor games today on Day 1 of the Brockton city tournament, Kevin Thibeault’s 298 in doubles, and Peter Cappola’ 300 game in singles, the video of which I present below:

Good bowling, guys! 🙂

Update: Rob Young told me that, in singles, he had the back 11 after leaving the 8-10 for a 279. Good recovery! 🙂
