I shared the unofficial results of the Rhode Island USBC city tournament on Facebook Monday, but overlooked that Sean Richard had a 299 in the singles event, which apparently was bowled Saturday. Good work! 🙂

Last night in the Patriots league saw Keith Kaestner strike 12 times in the third game and Mike “Sensae” Reed get close to one with a 297 game. For Keith, it had been two years between perfect games.

Per a report he gave me on Facebook, Kevin Kelliher, who bowls in the Pepsi and Patriots leagues at Westgate Lanes, bowled his first perfect game in tonight’s NEBA qualifying squad at AMF Auburn Lanes. Great bowling! 🙂
Brian Egan rolls 300 in Malden
Sean Richard relayed me a report from Brian Gaskill last night that Brian Egan had 300 in the first game and the front six in the second in Malden, but the follow-up soon after reported that a 10 pin stopped his run. Great game, anyway! 🙂
Sean Richard tosses 803 at NAT in East Providence
“Seany Ka$h” had a busy weekend, traveling to four different events, including both 9 AM squads of the BPUSBC mixed doubles in Hanover, but the highlight was an 803 set in the NAT singles event Saturday at East Providence Lanes, per his post above. Good shooting! 🙂

Jake Tobin tosses first 300 of 2019-20 season
Congratulations to Jake Tobin, with what was likely the first 300 game at Westgate this season last night in the Brunswick Mixed league. We should be able to confirm whether it was the first in the association soon.
I’m pondering a post about my own status, but I’m not comfortable making it yet.

Leagues haven’t started for the new season at Westgate, but the Westport Trios league started last night, and Sean Richard came out of the gate firing 296-268-245 for an 809, per his Facebook post. WTG!
Danny Khuu rolls 300/816 in Monday doubles
Not putting this into the Westgate Warriors category, but one of the Warriors, Danny Khuu, will be carrying some momentum into Battle Bowl X this week, as he tossed 238-300-278 for an 816 set last night in the Monday doubles league. Stephanie Bourhill got the video below:

Westgate Warriors take UBA New England title
Today, the Westgate Warriors claimed the 2018-19 UBA New England championship in a 36-4 rout over New England Heat. The day’s standouts were Jon Hester (782 with a 299 game) and Jim Ferguson (752) in Scratch, Brian Egan (716) in Handicap 1, and Stan Lewis (703) in Handicap 2.
The Warriors will now face X-Treme Chaos, out of the New Jersey South district, in the Battle Bowl Elite 8 at Bowlarama in New Castle, DE.
UPDATE: FloBowling will provide live streaming coverage of Battle Bowl X, including the UBA World Championship matches. Click here for the schedule. I personally hope FloBowling will also provide live scoring from the center, which would make “live recap” coverage possible.

After the UBA match, Sean Richard went to Callahan’s Bowl-O-Rama in Newington, CT for the Ace Mitchell Northeast tournament and proceeded to put 300 #105 in the books. Sean’s video will be shared on the Facebook page.
Westgate Warriors qualify for UBA playoffs; Louis Bacci shoots 299
James Bessette posted in the (closed) Westgate Warriors Facebook group that they won 22 points against Raging Bulls today at East Providence Lanes and have qualified for the New England North playoffs on July 7 at the Bowlero in Milford, CT, where they will face the Auburn Maulers. Leading the way today was Louis Bacci, with a 299 game.
UPDATE: The host center for the NE North playoffs has been changed to Callahan’s Bowl-O-Rama in Newington, CT.
Keith Callahan rolls first 300 in Kingston
I saw on Facebook (post was not shareable) that Keith Callahan of the His & Hers league (and bowling Monday Summer Doubles at Westgate) bowled his first 300 game in the Friday Night Doubles summer league last night at Kingston Ten Pin. Congrats! 🙂
Note: It is not known if this league is certified.
