The Northeast Amateur Tournament reported on their Facebook page that Mark Zimmerman & Jim Ferguson, the latter of whom is a Brockton Bowling Association Hall of Famer, were the winners of the doubles event held on Jan. 10 at Westgate Lanes after defeating AJ Voisine & Danny Khuu, 1039-1010 (with handicap), in the two-game final match (the final match score was reported in the newsletter on their website, which was unavailable at press time). Other Westgate Lanes cashers were Chuck Paige II & Matt Richard, Mike Major & Sean Richard, Mike Peirce & Dan Robinson, Tim Major & Paris Cook, Tina Gannon & Bill Briggs, and Kevin Thibeault (with James Jordan).

During qualifying, Shawn Hartigan threw a 300 game, his second at Westgate in as many calendar years (having also thrown one during the state tournament last spring), and Jim Ferguson, during the head-to-head finals had the last 11 strikes for a 279 game after opening the game with a split.

Congrats to all! 🙂
